Chile - no estoy acostumbrado a esto

Hi all

Approximatly 4 days ago we left NZ for Chile. I do mean approximalty because we actualty arrived 5 hrs before we left and have had 14 hrs sleep since NZ, seriously!!!!

So Chile... right.... not the highlight of the trip so far. Had somewhat of a suffocating get me the fuck out of here feel to it, which I am sure may grow on you, but just not our cup of tea. It wasn´t that bad, besides the people and the city itself, it was brilliant. The temprement of the locals is held by a fine hair, should you break this thin thread, and the pitbull inside was released. We were close to getting ejected from the country for incorrect icecream preparation edicet at a 711... piss funny. We think it may be to the result of a fairly thick language barrier (a seemingly innocent whats the time ends up with us being handed a grapèfruit), and two weeks of chilling in laid back NZ. Thanks very much to Chub and Alli for taking such good care of us, making sure each day was packed with good times.

There were some real ups to Chile though... flying into the Andes was pretty spectacular. We managed to go for a walk out of the city and stumble upòn centro santa lucia, a monument/garden/oasis raised a few hundred metres out of the concrete jungle that takes up the entirity of the rest of the landscape. Spent some well needed down time there (the first shot of the sunset, and other one of Richo is on top of it.

Now we are in Buenos Aires, having spent the night in the airport and then catching the local bus into the city (a 2 hour 40km, but all important 70cent ride into the citry) and early night for us, BA awaits tomorrow.

Richo and Ebs
